There is no question that the talent of the current National Team members is deep. Deeper than deep. We're talking Challenger Deep deep. These ladies are strong all-around gymnasts and offer up high degrees of difficulty. In 2020, a few had stepped ahead of the pack, labeling themselves as favorites to be considered for one of the coveted three spots, but then the disastrous year continued to grow in its grossness, postponing the games. Now with an extra year of training, the playing field has leveled back out a bit. (Yes, I know there are four team spots, but Simone.)
Just for fun, we're taking a poll. Pick the four girls you would choose to make up Team USA and then an individual. Obviously, Jade Carey would be a 6th US gymnast competing at the Olympics should she go that route and not as a member of the four-person team, but that's not up for debate. It's either her, or we only send one individual.
