Gymnastics

Riley McCusker is a four time member of the women's national team, first joining in 2016. She is most known for her flexibility and grace, as well as her difficulty levels on bars and beam, though she is definitely known as a strong all-around gymnast. Her incredible strength and consistency has landed her on one Pan American Games team, one Worlds team, and got her assigned to represent the US at the FIG World Cup in Birmingham in 2019. Riley has also won 6 medals at US Nationals.

Some of her gymnastics highlights include:

• Member of the 2018 World Championships gold medal team

• Member of the 2019 Pan American Games gold medal team

• Won individual gold on bars at the 2019 Pan Am Games

• All-Around silver medalist at the 2019 Pan Am Games

• All -Around silver medalist at the FIG World Cup in Birmingham in 2019

Personal

In her free time, she loves spending time at the ocean, paddle boarding and boogie boarding. When it comes to music, she enjoys broadway soundtracks, and loves eating ice cream.

Riley graduated from high school in 2019 and plans to attend the University of Florida as a part of their women's gymnastic team with fellow national teammate, Morgan Hurd.

One thing we have learned about Riley over the last year, is that she has excellent character. She's a strong and upstanding young woman who has made it as far as she has not because of the circumstances she was in, but in spite of them. She's a great role model and has handled everything thrown at her with much grace.
