Gymnastics


Faith Torrez joined the national team in 2020 and made her debut at International Gymnix. She left that competition with two golds and a bronze, which made for a successful first meet as a member of the US women's national team.


Some highlights from her gymnastics career include:


• Took home all-around gold from the 2019 American Classic

• Won first all-around at the 2019 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships

• At 2020 International Gymnix, she won gold on beam and bronze on bars, finishing 4th all-around

• Part of the gold medal winning team at 2020 International Gymnix


Personal



Faith Torrez was born on December 9, 2003 in Libertyville, Illinois. She now resides in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin with her parents and to siblings. She began gymnastics at the age of 5, following in her mother's footsteps as she had been a gymnast as well.


In her spare time, Faith enjoys playing volleyball. Her favorite food is pizza, and her favorite restaurant is Qdoba.


Faith is currently homeschooled and will graduate from high school in 2022.


She has signed her national letter of intent to continue her gymnastics career at the University of Oklahoma in the 2022-2023 school year.
