Gymnastics
Emily Lee was invited to the 2019 Worlds Team Selection Camp as a non-national team member, where she finished 10th all around. In 2020 she was added to the national team and made her debut at 2020 International , helping the team bring home the gold. She is a strong all-around gymnast with a promising future.
Some highlights from her gymnastics career include:
• Took home the silver medal for floor at 2020 International Gymnix
• Won gold on floor at the 2019 American Classics in Salt Lake City
• She was the all around silver medalist at the 2019 American Classics
• Junior Olympic National gold medalist on floor in 2016
Personal
Emily Lee was born on October 4, 2002 in San Jose, California. She currently lives in Los Gatos, California with her parents and four siblings. She is the only gymnast in her family. She first enrolled in gymnastics at 6 years old, and when asked how she got her start, she explained,
"My dad found a coupon for a free class in the newspaper and the rest is history."
In her free time, Emily enjoys shopping, and also does work with Relay for Life.
She is currently a junior in high school and her favorite subject is history.
Emily will graduate high school in 2021 and has committed to UCLA, and will join their gymnastics team in the 2021-2022 school year.
